Ghazi Abbasi, Abdul-Reza Amir-Khanafereh, Abdul-Amir Mojaddami and Jasim Moghaddam Payam, have all been executed. All were members of Iran’s Ahwazi Arab minority.
Canadian-Iranian national Hamid Ghassemi-Shall, who had been sentenced to death in Iran in 2008, was released on 23 September after spending over five years in prison.
Abdolreza Ghanbari and two others had their death sentences overturned. However, Mohsen and Ahmad Daneshpour Moghadam, are still at risk.
Iranian prisoner of conscience and blogger, Hossein Ronaghi Maleki, needs urgent specialized medical care which he cannot receive in prison.
