Two prominent Saudi prisoners of conscience have been on hunger strike since 3 March in protest at their deteriorating prison conditions.
Siveen Juma Kindi, a Kurdish postal worker in Syria, was subjected to enforced disappearance in the northern city of Qamishly, on 13 March 2012. He has not been heard from since then.
Security forces used excessive force to disperse homeless families from the rubble of their former homes, from which they were forcibly evicted on 18 February.
