The health of men from Iran’s Kurdish minority is in danger after 64 days on hunger strike. They have been on hunger strike in protest at their death sentences and their detention conditions.
Brothers Khosro and Masoud Kordpour, both journalists from Iran’s Kurdish minority, were sentenced to prison terms of six years and three-and-a-half years after unfair trials.
Imprisoned teachers Hadi Rashedi and Hashem Sha’bani Amouri, have been transferred to an unknown location, which suggests their executions may be imminent.
Hootan Dolati has been repeatedly denied medical treatment in Tehran’s Evin Prison. He has been on a hunger strike in protest of being denied medical care.
