Two men in Zambia who are on trial for allegedly having sex “against the order of nature” are expecting a verdict on their case to be delivered on 25 February.
Charges against Najlaa Mohammed Ali and Amin Senada were dropped on 2 December. The two activists had been at risk of imprisonment or flogging for ‘indecent behavior’.
On 30 October Adam Sharief, lawyer and activist, was released from prison after spending over one month in detention without a charge.
