This short film offers a sobering look into the everyday toils of the Mapuche people in Argentina as they struggle to maintain their impoverished existence. Marginalized by mainstream Argentine society, the Capuche were pushed off their land by white settlers, and are now forced to live on the rocky slopes of barely-arable mountains where the winters present mortal challenges to people who have all-but-abandoned their cultural life in favor of human survival.
