With astounding access to special clemency hearings, the death row prisoners, exonerated men and Governor Ryan himself, directors Katy Chevigny and Kirsten Johnson bring the viewer directly into the emotional and legal storm surrounding Ryan's extraordinary decision. The screening will be followed by a Q&A discussion with remarks by Dr. Marcus Rediker, Professor of History, Univ. of Pittsburgh and a member of the Pittsburgh Abolitionists United Against the Death Penalty.
