Idaho citizens take part in the International Day of Action to Shut Down Guantanamo

On January 11, 2007 please join the Idaho Statehouse Vigil when you can from the hours from 1pm - 4pm.

A program begins at 2pm. Speakers include representatives from the A.C.L.U., Veterans for Peace & Idaho Peace Coalition.

There will be a realistic replica of a small prisoner cage, just one example of the torture and mistreatment the prisoners have received. The vigil is in solidarity with Witness Against Torture actions taking place at the Supreme Court and US Federal Court in Washington DC and is sponsored locally by Amnesty International USA, A.C.L.U., Catholic Worker, the Idaho Peace Coalition, and Veterans for Peace.
