Join us for a student activist training at SUNY Cortland on Saturday, November 23rd 2013. The training will take place from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. This will be a hands on afternoon to prepare student activists for organizing in their own communities and on campus. We'll discuss organizing basics like campaign strategy, working with partner organizations, and building out creative tactics.
There will be a short session of thirty minutes to discuss Amnesty International but this training is open and appropriate for all student activists. We welcome students from other organizations to join us for this afternoon of activism. The skills learned here will be easily transferred to all social justice issues (Greenpeace, Invisible Children, STAND, LGBT organizations and more!)
Make sure to register here.
