Screening of "Sri Lanka's Killing Fields"

During Sri Lanka's brutal civil war, both the government forces and the opposition Tamil Tigers violated the laws of war and human rights. "Sri Lanka's Killing Fields" is a powerful 50-minute documentary, produced by the U.K. broadcaster Channel 4, which shows shocking evidence of war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by both sides during the final months of the conflict.

Jim McDonald, the Sri Lanka Country Specialist for AIUSA, will introduce the film and lead a discussion after the screening.

The event is free and open to the public. AIUSA Group 139 and Goodman South Madison Library are co-sponsoring the event.
