In his recent book Music and the Soul: A Listener's Guide to Achieving Transcendent Musical Experiences, author Kurt Leland says: "It would not be an exaggeration for me to say that much of this book has come from trying to figure out what makes the Borromeo Quartet's performances so emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually captivating."

 

A dinner will be held at the Sheraton Commander Hotel across the street from the Edward M. Pickman Concert Hall at 5:30 p.m. The cost of the dinner per person is $125 and includes a ticket for the concert.

For tax purposes, the value of the concert is $25 and the value of the dinner is $60. Donations beyond these amounts are tax-deductible.
