Human Rights and the War on Terrorism
Please reserve the evening of November 17, 7:30 pm and come hear a public policy lecture and discussion led by John Shattuck, CEO of the Kennedy Library Foundation and former Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor in the Clinton administration. The title of the talk is "Human Rights and the War on Terrorism." Mr. Shattuck is the author of Freedom on Fire: Human Rights Wars and America's Response, published by Harvard University Press in 2003 and now in paperback.
The lecture is free and will be held at First Parish Church in Lexington. Following the lecture and discussion there will be a reception and book signing of his new paperback edition.
