Cluster Meeting
February 2007
Saint Paul, MN
On a day when area weather forecasts predicted a record snow fall, Amnesty members from the Twin Cities metropolitan area took their chances and gathered for the annual cluster meeting hosted by the William Mitchell Law School Amnesty USA Chapter.
During the cluster meeting the twenty seven participants shared some of the recent successes and made plans for participation for the 2007 National Week of Student Action's Make Some Noise for Darfur Campaign. Member activists from three local groups, (Minneapolis, St. Paul, and Wayzata), and several school groups participated.
Minnesota Area Coordinator Margaret Levin played an active role in organizing members from around the metropolitan area to attend. Soon after the cluster meeting adjourned, the area was hit with the worst late February blizzard in recent memory.
