Fourth 2007 Twin Cities Cluster Meeting - A Success!
The October 2007 Twin Cities Minnesota Cluster meeting enabled twenty three Amnesty activists representing a high school group, one undergraduate college group, two law school groups and 3 local groups to come together to explore the local campaigning and advocacy opportunities with the recent "Maze of Injustice" report.
October's fourth cluster was the fourth such meeting held during 2007. Each cluster meeting has attracted a diverse section of Amnesty's membership and had a different focus for the agenda. The winter Twin Cities Cluster meeting focused on the substantive issues surrounding Amnesty's campaigning on Darfur for the National Week of Student Action. In the summer, a meet and greet cluster meeting was held with the Minnesota Field Organizer. Earlier in the fall the two Minnesota Student Area Coordinators held a networking cluster meeting organized by and attended by students.
The October cluster meeting also was a chance for activists to thank out going Minnesota area coordinator Margaret Levin for her five year's of dedication to the volunteer leadership position.
