Meet former Maldives President Mohamed Nasheed for an informal dialogue about human rights, democracy and the environment (climate change).
Mr. Nasheed was the first democratically elected President of Maldives and was forced to resign in February this year. He is a well-known environmentalist and a documentary "The Island President" chronicles his activities. In October 2009 he famously held a cabinet meeting underwater to highlight the effects of global warming.
