The end of Sri Lanka's brutal civil war in 2009 saw both sides committing human rights abuses and war crimes. But no one has yet been held accountable for these crimes. An international investigation is needed to provide the victims and their families with truth and justice.
Join Amnesty activists as we gather at the Federal Plaza in downtown Chicago to demand an international war crimes investigation in Sri Lanka. We will be canvassing to get signatures on our petition asking the U.S. government to support establishment of such an investigation.
