Jaz O'Hara: Behind the Scenes at Refugee Camps

Come join us April 26th to hear the amazing work that Jaz O'Hara has done in refugee camps in Europe and the Middle East. Jaz has worked tirelessly in camps across Europe and the Middle East to tell the stories that otherwise go unheard.

The Worldwide Tribe which Jaz is a part of, has installed Wi-Fi in camps in France and Greece, organized a football tournament in Dunkirk, funded a fire truck in Calais, run art projects in the Za'atari camp in Jordan, and coordinated food, clothing, shelter and much more. Jaz and her team are dedicated to challenging the fear-based narrative that pervades today's media and society.

Boston University's Amnesty International Group is co-hosting this event with the Forced Migration and Human Trafficking Initiative at BU.
