Human Rights Festival, San Diego State University

Organized by Amnesty International at San Diego State University, this year's three day event features speakers from Tibet, Morocco and the United States and is divided into three themes: women's rights, the right to self-determination and the freedoms of expression and assembly.

Feb. 18: 475: When Marriage Becomes Punishment: Film premiere followed by Q&A with director Nadir Bouhmouch

Feb. 19: Showing of Dhondhup Wangchen's film Leaving Fear Behind, followed by a talk and Q&A with his wife, Lhamo Tso

Feb. 20: Presentation by Mark Levine: Jaffa, Tel Aviv, and the Struggle for Palestine

Monday and Tuesday: 7-9pm; Wednesday: 6-9pm
