Film Screening - "Sri Lanka's Killing Fields"

Originally broadcast in 2011 in the U.K., "Sri Lanka's Killing Fields" presents shocking evidence of war crimes committed by both Sri Lankan government forces as well as the opposition Tamil Tigers during the final months of the civil war in 2008-2009.

The Amnesty International Princeton Area Group and the Program in South Asian Studies of Princeton University are presenting a free screening of this 50-minute documentary. Jim McDonald, the Sri Lanka Country Specialist for AIUSA, will introduce the film and lead a discussion afterwards. Participants will learn about Amnesty's current campaigns in Sri Lanka and have an opportunity to take action on specific cases.

Event time: 8:00 - 9:30pm
