Amnesty Mosaic
Youth Leadership Planning and Training Session
Friday, March 30, 2012 I 9:00am – 3:00pm
Amnesty Mosaic is a gathering for youth activists who have exemplified outstanding leadership and dedication to human rights. It will provide a unique platform for 100 current and emerging student and youth leaders (age 14-25) across the country to connect, be inspired and shape Amnesty’s work. Youth activists will learn about pressing human rights issues, train to become effective human rights leaders, and have the opportunity to meet and share experiences with peers committed to human rights work. The National Youth Action Committee calls on all Amnesty youth leaders to come together for this special day.

Sessions include:
- State of Youth in the US an environmental scan on the issues and concerns facing youth.
- Get Your Skills On with trainings on lobbying, AIUSA resolution process, creative campaigning
- Graduating: No Problem learn how to continue your activism post-graduation
- Dancing with a Message following Amnesty Mosaic, participants will learn and perform a Flash Mob as part of the AGM rally.
