Every year, the human rights conference is jam packed with exciting events. This year's AGM will take place in Denver, CO from March 30th - April 1st 2012 at the Denver Marriott City Center on 1701 California Street.

Local Group and Area Coordinator Training and Planning Session
Friday, March 30, 2012 | 9:30am – 3:15pm
On Friday, March 30th, 2012 during the AGM, Amnesty International calls on all leaders and local groups to come together for a special planning and training session. This is a half-day gathering which provides a unique platform for current and emerging Local Group leaders and Area Coordinators from across the country to connect, learn, and help shape Amnesty's work.
- Local Group members will learn more about Amnesty's work, train to become more effective human rights leaders, and have the opportunity to meet and share experiences with others committed to human rights work.
- Area Coordinators will learn how to help advance Amnesty's human rights agenda and build Amnesty's local presence in their areas, as well as learn to develop more effective partnerships with other local human right
