December 10th marks International Human Rights Day as well as the first meeting of the Port Townsend chapter, which will be part of a network of over 250 Local Groups. Local Groups are based in a community and made of up volunteer members who represent AI locally, conduct community outreach, and work on priority human rights campaigns and programs. Amnesty International Regional Field Organizer Sara Schmidt will give a presentation about human rights at the flagship event on Monday, December 10th at 7:00pm.
