Death Penalty Panel at the AIUSA AGM
The PADP National Steering Committee hosted a very successful panel at AIUSA's Annual General Meeting, held in Pittsburgh April 4-6, 2003. The panel was entitled "Viewing Contemporary U.S. Death Penalty Developments Through a Human Rights Prism" and included the following panelists:
Professor Victor Streib, a law professor at Ohio Northern University School of Law and an attorney whose work is devoted to the legal and social issues surrounding children who commit murder.
Ray Krone, a native of York, Pennsylvania, who was the nation's 100th death row prisoner to be exonerated.
Ronald J. Tabak, a lawyer based in New York who has numerous years of experience in death penalty and civil rights litigation. AIUSA Board member and liaison to the PADP National Steering Committee, Tonya McClary served as the panel moderator.
