About Pittsburgh
AIUSA's 2003 Annual General Meeting will be held in April 4-6 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This three-day event will take place at the historic Omni William Penn Hotel near the cultural district in downtown Pittsburgh. Located at the point where three rivers meet, Pittsburgh is a city of 88 distinct neighborhoods, distinguished educational and cultural institutions, and festive nightlife. There are many attractions to explore within walking distance of the AGM site including the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra's Heinz Hall and the Benedum Center for the performing arts; the ethnic food markets, exciting restaurants and nightclubs of the Strip District; and the innovative Andy Warhol Museum. Pittsburgh is within 500 miles of more than half the US population and less than 90 minutes flying time from 20 states. Pittsburgh International Airport is about 25 minutes outside the city.
