Have you ever wondered what was going on in the host city of the Annual General Meeting beyond plenary sessions and resolutions? Well, you can stop wondering. As we welcome in the new millennium, we will also welcome in a new tradition at our Annual General Meeting - the AGM Service Project. The AGM Service Project is an educational experience that will provide participants with the opportunity to volunteer with a community organization or an area school. The main goal of this project is to connect our work as human rights activists with the community based human rights work of our partner organizations and/or schools. Prior to the experience, participants will learn about how the work of our community partners relates to the international human rights framework. After the experience, participants will reflect on the day and share their ideas on how we can strengthen our activism by combining education and hands on experience. If you've already registered for the AGM Service Project and would like to see an update, please click here.
