Secretary General of Amnesty International Canada, Alex Neve, recently completed a mission to Chad. While there, he investigated widespread reports of human rights violations and met a number of people who have been displaced by the violence that has plagued the region for far too long.

Alex noted that “In interview after interview we heard people describe their feeling of abandonment: abandoned before, during and after the attacks. Abandoned to terror and to death. It was clear that the international community had to step in and provide protection.”

Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and Refugees

Ethical Business Practices for Darfur

In today's globalized world, stockholders must make it their business to know the human rights impact of their investments.
