LEVEL 1
Requires minimal planning
- Sign the online petition to stop human rights abuses in Sudan
- Send an online fax - urge the Sudanese Government to protect people in Darfur, Sudan
- Target the Chad government – demand protection of refugees!
- Urge the Government of Sudan to take immediate action to stop violence against women in Darfur.
- Prevent mass death among internally displaced people in Darfur, Sudan
LEVEL 2
Requires 2 - 5 hours planning. All Level 1 Actions Plus
- Download the "Stop the Fires" posters and stickers. Hand these out to friends and post them at school or in your community.

- Set up a petition table at a local farmers market, park, neighborhood, or concert.
Download and print the petition (in PDF) and collect signatures.
- Download the factsheet (in PDF) on the crisis in Darfur and add that to your table too!
- Email the online petition form to 25 friends and relatives.
- Send a letter to the editor (in PDF; password required) to your local paper on the crisis in Darfur! For AIUSA members only. Members can apply for a password by filling out this form.
- In this year’s summer postcard Action, you can send a message of hope to a prisoner of conscience. Saleh Mahmud Osman, from Sudan, is a featured case. Download the Summer Postcard action and make a card for him.

- Support the Darfur Hope Resolution in your City Council or County Commission
