Ask Amnesty

Question

From Shyla Stacer, La Mirada California:

I was wondering if there is anything else that I can do to aid the Juarez murders, and the families and friends that it has affected?

Answer

Sheila Dauer, Director of AIUSA's Women's Human Rights Program, responds:

Dear Shyla,

In addition the featured actions, one of the most concrete things you can do to aid the families and friends affected by these horrible murders and government inaction is to contribute to some of the organizations of relatives of the murdered and disappeared women. Here are two of them. It is probably easier for them to receive international money orders than personal checks.
