Eritrea continues to present serious human rights concerns, from incommunicado detention of prisoners of conscience to the persecution of minority faith groups. These are compounded by the stalemate in negotiations of the border with Ethiopia, widespread military conscription, repression of civil society, and the failure of the government to implement the ratified constitution.Read More
