Focus: Buddhism
Listen
to an interview with Diana Lion, Director of the Prison Project and a member of
the Buddhist Peace Fellowship. Diana started doing Buddhist practice in 1974 in
Canada. She has been an activist since 1969, addressing women's,
labour, prison,
and other human rights issues. When she encountered the Buddhist
Peace Fellowship
in 1992, she was able to learn how other Buddhist practitioners
engage in combining
activism with spiritual values, such as compassion,
interconnectedness, and insight.
